What makes Roger's price impressive is that it was individual; no matter what bounty you want to imagine, you will be able to fallaciously diminish it by amounting a random number of lesser but more numerous prices. The guy was more expensive by himself than the ultimate devil fruit that can give immortality; that's obviously a large sum of money.
