FromSoftware elitism is strange

And no I love bloodborne but the games objectively aren't that difficult.

They have 0 execution barrier. Its literally not hard at all. Bloodbornes combat is rt trigger. O button to dodge or roll. And shooting them.

This shit. This shit is hard.

Actual competitive gaming with execution barrier>>>4 button combat

Tekken is more of a knowledge check. Aside from kbd its not mechanically that hard unless you are playing a mishima.

Street fighter, depending on the game is harder than Tekken. Seriously 1 frame links for basic bnbs? Or 1 frame reversals for a precise DP motion? Wtf.

I'm saying the gitgood mentality of fromsoftware is unwarranted due to the fact that you are playing AI.

And if you really want to go hard. Play brood war.

And even within the genre, nioh is harder lol. It has an execution barrier.

Nah i was fucking with yall. Tekken is absolutely, at this point impossible to get into because of the insane learning curve.

50+ characters. 90 moves each. You have to know whether everything is a high mid or a low and its frame data.

If the characters didn't all play so homogenously then maybe it would be worth it. And the online is ass

But it is still a game where to be good, it takes textbook knowledge, and that bores me

4 button combat is getting more and more the normality:josad:
Have you played a single Soulsborne game? Like seriously, the difficulty isn't about some button smashing, it is about the gameplay itself which highly goes along with the overworld and its level designs, as well as enemies whose AI is quite high. You have to be good at timing, finding out pattern - each individual monster has its own attack pattern. You have to be vary of your surroundings because sometimes, there are enemies hiding somewhere to catch you off guard. Even then, a certain enemy or boss just has to make a more unpredictable move and soon your death count is higher on one.

There is a reason why there are so many rage quit videos about any Soulsborne games because even those people get regularly their asses kicked by either the surroundings (when they're falling from an abyss), tricky enemies, really difficult bosses and so on. And it's usual to have a death count of at least ~200 - 300 even in the early stage of the game.

I haven't played that game but I see gaming is turning easier on average or maybe I'm just turning too smart for them but I doubt it's just it :josad:

Lol what? What are you supposed to do with your intellect? Throwing your IQ at random mobs? Anyway, if you're curious at the actual difficulty of these games, I can guarantee you it will challenge you a lot... or not. But keep in mind that the Soulsborne games are one of the most difficult modern video game franchises ever.

First hand experience in a soul game is hard almost all the time, you cant rly say that those type of games are not hard. Also how tf you compare some competitive fighting games with an rpg. If you want to see similar level of difficulty go play multiplayer in souls games, you will get your ass kicked how you get in pvp fighting games or mobas etc.
Weak bait.

You can make these games as hard as you want. They give you multiple different options.

My main complaints are graphics that look like they're from 2012 not 2022, and boring/generic storylines.
