As many PlayStation owners may know, Sony's PSN and playStation plus services were down for over 24 hours, causing significant issues, including substantial financial losses for Sony (one article calls it the "gaming economy" lol). Additionally, reports suggest that some company information may have been compromised during the outage.
After scrambling to restore their systems, Sony is now attempting to compensate its customers by offering five additional days of service while providing little to no explanation for why the service went down. Many PlayStation owners argue that five additional days of PSN fail to make up for what is likely the most severe security breach since 2014, which is made worse by Sony's unwillingness to provide a good explanation.
Some speculate that this hack may have been orchestrated by the terminated Sony employees I mentioned before along with employees within Sony who were disgruntled by the firings.

If former Concord teams are behind this, it looks like Concord not only screwed Sony when it was alive, but continues to do so after death. Its a video game haunting.
