Character Discussion Give Kong some respect. The man’s a harder worker than Garp or Sengoku

Kong is Garp and Sengoku’s senior, yet he’s still busting his ass working as the Commander in Chief, a position with even more responsibilities than the Fleet Admiral, even though Garp and Sengoku have already retired. So even though he’s older than them (probably in his 80’s since Garp’s 78), he’s still actively working while those two retired two years ago. Either that or Kong is actually younger than them despite being Fleet Admiral while Sengoku was Admiral, which would mean Prime Kong > Prime Sengoku

Commander in Chief is to Fleetadmiral of the navy as Chairman of the Board is to the CEO. The Chairman is formally above the CEO, but it is the less important job. Many departing CEOs become Chairman when they don't want to completly retire. Kong is not doing much. Sakazuki is running the navy, which represents the vast majority of the forces.

Kong is one dedicated guy.

I bet that he's influenced a lot of the thinking and views on justice that we've seen from present day marines.

I wonder which pirates were his main rivals when he was an admiral
Some of the rox pirates and level 6 prisoners and other pirates
