GB`s DF is kinda vulnerable, just imagine if it was kaido's boro breath ? Or GB vs akainu or a poweful meru meru DF users? Also other logia fruits a fluid and can dodge even haki attacks like aokiji vs WB. But can a forest logia DF do the same? maybe who knows
Anywhooo! i am always disappointed when characters go straight for their DF powers before showing us what they got without them. It only works with luffy and some others but for GB i wish he used vines like Doffy's strings before going full logia. I don't know if it was the same for you guys but kaido using his dragon form was always annoying to see. And he used it alot including that dumb form he used at the end of the fight. Imagine if robbi luci was always in his leopard form when fighting luffy?
But if GB did not go full logia then we would have gotten to see a powerful character with powerful haki instead of meeeeh forest. Him in his human form dodging slashes with future site while his vines simultaneously fighting the other samurais. It was an opportunity to show how powerful admiral haki are.
Instead we got a guy using his full DF form who got subdued by a powerful haki user. Which ended up proving what kaido said that haki is more powerful than DF powers
