Why no one thought about that?

I had to do a thread about Kanjuro being still conscious but I think I didn't. So here it is.

Back at Dressrosa we learned pretty well that a user has to be conscious in order to use it's DF actively. We had that plot with Sugar, Doffy and Corazon. Luffy unconscious is still rubber because it is passive DF power.

So if Kanjuro's Spirit Monster is still up that means he is not only alive but conscious. And being conscious he may as well have drawned the Grim Reaper.

Mistery solved.

He is naturally but technically not because he's the Kazenbo now... Similar to Brook, naturally dead but he's now a soul living and animating in his natural corpse...

His DF doesn't allow him to do that. Not even awakened would allow it.

Brook's DF is passive, it's changes his body. Kanjuro's DF is active, it doesn't change his body.
