Haki Mastery and Swordsman Mastery with Selective Targetting
This is a small comparison between two types of applications in Haki Mastery and Swordsman Mastery that overlap.
1. Haki Mastery allows you to choose people out of a group who don't get knocked out by Conqueror's Haki.
2. Swordsmanship Mastery allows you to choose people out of a group who don't get cut by a Sword Technique (swords who cut what people want to and protect those they care for)
Any thoughts on this? They can effectively do the same application. Is there any reason why this overlaps this way? Is it because the Captain will likely have Conqueror's Haki to perform crowd control while the Vice-Captain/First Mate often ends up being a swordsman who can perform the same kind of crowd control even without Conqueror's Haki? I think both of these people are highlighted to have crowd control techniques. It allows a crew to have 2 places controlled at the same time if needed because these 2 people can be in different conflicts.
Note: This is not to suggest a Vice-Captain or First Mate can't have Conqueror's Haki. It is just a comparison between two types of abilities I see that have an overlapping application among two types of characters who often have these skills.
