CoC: Color of Clowns

Give Love. Stop Abuse.

I've seen a lot of people talk about the upper right panel, and say it looks like Harald is dead and in a glass tomb. IMO, that's now what's happening here.

It looks like Harald is standing in front of a mirror, or painting. I thought it was a throne at first, but based on his stance and how he's holding his sword, I highly doubt he's sitting. It's possible Harald was standing in front of a throne, though.

If you look to the right of the King, we see what appears to be a pillar, so, I assume he's standing up. From the bottom, we see black lightning shoot out up, and to the right. I believe this scene depicts Harald holding his sword while talking to Loki, and that the black lightning is Loki's CoC Haki. This was most likely right before Harald's death. So far, we have no modern Giant with Conqueror's, which is flat out stupid considering how Giants act in the fucking first place.

Since King Harald knew about the prophecy, I'm thinking Harald accepted that Loki was going to kill him, and this is probably why Loki is still alive/Jarul doesn't hate Loki; Harald begged Jarul to forgive his son as he laid dying.

Keep in mind Jarul tried to murder Linlin, an actual CHILD, after she killed Jorul and gave him his dishonorable death. If Jarul doesn't hate Loki, even after stabbing through his helmet/head, and then killing the King, Jarul has good reason to believe Loki's murder or Harald was much more justified than Linlin's murder of Jorul.

In order for Jarul to accept Harald's death, Loki must have had SOME legitimate point in all this.

In 1136, the same chapter Jarul mentions (check the VIZ, TCBs translation was bad) that Harald and Loki were both trying to be Nika, we have the Holy Knights offer Loki a position in their ranks. We know from this chapter that Nika is seen as a 1. Ruler 2. Liberator. 3. Destroyer 4. Laughfactory.

IMO, Luffy embodies the Liberation/Laughter of the Sun God, hence partying in the realm of the Sun, while Loki, the Ruler/Destroyer, is trapped in the Underworld.

After seeing Loki's rejection of Gunko and Pranks, the explanation is clear: Loki despised his father for his trade and diplomacy with the WG. A country/tribe becoming part of the WG is a HUGE deal, especially if it's the Giants. If Elbaph becomes a nation of the WG, the New World is a COMPLETELY different place for Marines and Pirates. The Marines/WG owning Elbaph would do SO MUCH to destroy piracy in the region. Marines being able to openly recruit Giants would do wonders for them, especially given the current state of the New World being abject chaos thanks to the Straw Hats creating power imbalances and vacuums.

The tipping point for Loki was simple: Harald wanted to attend the Reverie. To Loki, the "end of the world" means destroying the disgusting world the Celestial Dragons have created. When Loki realized Harald wanted to join the WG and attend the Reverie, their arguments over "Liberation" and "Destruction" hit a boiling point. Harald wanted to bridge the gap with the Celestial Dragons, and hoped to negotiate with them to reduce slavery/Heavenly tributes.

Loki wants the CDs all dead. Who else told us they wanted to destroy the whole world? Doflamingo. Who was their enemy?

I'd imagine Harald was generally surrounded by guards: Loki knocked them out with CoC, struggled with Jarul and stabbed him in the head, then killed Harald in cold blood.

This is a tragic parallel to Queen Otohime of Fish-Man Island, who bravely gave her life fighting for Fish-Men and Merfolk to reach the Reverie/Surface, and died in front of her own children seeking that peace.

Like Otohime, Harald wished to bring peace and equality to Elbaph, and was killed by someone whose hatred and racism prevented them from accepting her dream.

Like Hody Jones, Loki despises the idea of being equal to Celestial Dragons and the humans who suck up to them, and murdered the Sovereign of their nation to keep Harald from attending the Reverie/Elbaph joining the WG.

Loki loves the Wolf, but is willing to watch his friend die in order to bring about the world's end he believes must occur due to Elbaph's Harley/legends.

Loki loved his father, but was willing to murder his father in cold blood in order to bring about the world's end and keep his people free from serving under the Celestial Dragons.

This will be Harjudin and Loki's great conflict as princes, IMO:

Hajrudin, like his father, will want to join the Reverie (this was foreshadowed by so many other royals from Dressrosa attending, like Rebecca, Viola, Princess Mansherry (get up in me, girl), Elizabello, and Sai), and Loki will be firmly opposed.

Hajrudin's desire to obtain a powerful Logia like the Mera Mera no Mi makes so much more sense knowing that FUCKING SHANKS was needed to take down Loki's crazy ass. Hajrudin knows strength is still the biggest sign of respect to the older Giants, and needs to surpass Loki in power to justify becoming the King.

We know that the older generations of Elbaph side with violence, not peace, so, the Boomer Giants will choose Loki over Hajrudin, causing a Civil War. Once this occurs, and the Giants start seriously fighting amongst each other, the Marines can enter this arc to take advantage of the chaos.

Loki and the Chieftains wants war with the Celestial Dragons; Hajrudin and the new generations want to promote peace and trade

Civil War is coming to Elbaph (I wrote Vivi instead of Civil at first, then wrote Vivil instead of Civil, so, I'm hoping Morgans drops Best Princess off, soon, too).
