In Alabasta, Robin was able to spawn her arms out from the other side of a door, proving she does not need to look at her targets directly to attack them, just be aware of their general presence.
This indicates that Robin's greatest upgrade comes in the form of Haki; not just Armament, but Observation.
If Robin developed strong enough Observation Haki, she could theoretically use it to sense her opponents, and then attack them at long range.
And... internally.
If Robin knows where your heart is, from hearing it's heartbeat with Observation Haki...
