Character Discussion Here's a list of Characters Oda still values

I have to wonder why Sabo, Figarland and Aokiji are in there. They're not the leaders of their own factions and are subordinates to Fraudgon, Imu and Blackbeard. They've also never shown much interest in getting the One Piece, same with Fraudgon.
I guess Figarland is a leader of the Holy Knights but he's still a subordinate to Imu and may only want to find the One Piece or stop others from finding it on Imu's orders.
Akainu has shown rebellious tendencies, so he may split the Marines from the WG at some point and will want to find the One Piece to destroy it.
Fraudgon has never shown any interest in the One Piece.
Neither has Aokiji and he's loyal to Blackbeard, unless of course he has his own goals in mind with some 8D chess keikaku.
Coby I guess is Garp's successor and he might become head of SWORD or the marines one day, so it figures he'd be aiming to find the One Piece before Akainu and any pirates, but for now he's still just a high ranking SWORD agent and hasn't openly shown interest in the One Piece.

The characters on this list will get major fights. Anyone else will get dirty seconds or get clowned like Sanji or even off-screened like Zoro did with Lucci.
Of course there will be other characters in the future chapters. But none of them will have centre stage like the ones here.
For example lots of readers are cheering for Mihawk. He barely appeared in a panel, he's going to be Buggy's servant.
This has to be some Oda foreshadowing. I expect a big battle for each and everyone of these characters. Exact opposite of Kid.
The crews will be there, but they'll get very few panels. Can't remember when I've last seen Brook or Chopper at Egghead for example.
I even expect some bigger feats from Buggy than from Zoro/Sanji. Maybe an awakening.

You mean to tell me that the race for One Piece is actually solo race and none of their crew will help them at all!
No wonder Kaido, BM and WB all failed to be the Pirate King. The large crew was their down fall. They built their their crew for nothing.
