Those tsunamis were larger than Marineford...an island, knocking around a few buildings is child's play in comparison.

Though in terms of haki, obviously Garp's is superior, but that's because haki wasn't really a thing back then and even when it was used, it was invisible.

Whitebeard’s is obviously greater, but I also believe that he took Aokiji stopping it into consideration when doing so.

Whitebeard's opening tsunami was much bigger in area...but Garp had AdvCoC equipped !
