It’s heavily implied that Awakening is when the character’s mind is in sync with their DF powers. Luffy is Awakened because of his goofy, carefree, and childish nature (not sure why it took so long and why he had to “die” first tho). Law is Awakened because he’s a top notch doctor. Doffy is Awakened because manipulates people like puppets. But what about DFs like Kara’s? What does being “mochi-like” mean? How does Kid’s personality line up with magnetism? Kid has a “heavy metal” theme, but that’s a pretty weak connection. What about something like the Jacket Fruit? What would having a “jacket-like” personality mean?
