How has Rona affected you?

It's really hard here in Bali. Most people works in tourism area and yea no tourist = no income. They said the country gives aid such as food etc but the local district only give it to poeple who are originally from their area. Many people doesn't even touch this aid (including me). But I got lucky that I still have side job so I can survive. Also We don't do lockdown but still need to wear a mask. The effect is actually more horrible to the mental state of everyone than the virus itself. Medical cost become crazy expensive as people need to pay doctor's anti contamination equipment and so few people have insurance. So if you got sick of any illness, well good luck with that. Family dispute everywhere to the point of physical abuse (i have 3 FRIENDS that got beaten up by their husband recently) and even some suicides already happened.

I have had to make minor changes to life but nothing too major. The kids being on an ever extending summer is rough, I spent the end of last school year home schooling, which meant bringing kids to work and making them do their school work here. Hopefully when they reopen schools my baby will be able to go back full time but my oldest can only go 2 days a week and home school 3, so he will be coming to work with me so I can make sure he gets his work done.

All of my family has been safe fortunately. And I've been actually able to stay at home for once (last 3 yrs had all consecutive semesters that required me to stay on campus). And now that all my classes are online I might be able to stay even longer, hopefully until the pandemic subsides in the US before I feel safe about returning to campus.

Mostly, just bored out of my mind because can't get out much. Also, I got selected for a Govt job in April, but due to lockdown and massive infection rate in India, they have been stalling the joining procedures for more than 4 months now.

Spanish here , truth is we felt rough deal . Spanish economy was already in shambles corona made things worse . Also people say catalonia is rich (Facts: Only barcelona has the money) , My city Girona lacked public health funding , old outdated healthcare infra contributed to many elders to die in day care centre .

I was always against Pro catalan independence maybe they had a point afterall , but lets me see how we deal with aftermath .

However USA had the worse of lot btw the amount of ignorance Trump and his fellow republican are playing with people saddens me . I unfriended few of my republican friends because they thought covid was hoax so i feel angry overall.

Living in the US, me and my family have been trying to stay home as much as possible (my dad can work remotely from home and I can take classes online instead of being on campus); we only go out maybe once a month to buy groceries and essential stuff.

The same can't be said for a lot of people living here. People I know have even gone insane from the prospect of not being able to socialize "in-person" and many have now straight up ignored the ongoing situation and instead of opting to go out like everything is back to normal, going to beaches and parties, hanging out with friends, etc.

Usually I don't talk about politics or what trump does since its out of my control and I don't like being stressed from that (as well as essential workers) but ngl I got REALLY pissed when Trump and other anti-COVID-19 people kept pushing over and over again the prospect of mandating in-person education for all students, and the worst part of it is that it is nearly the consensus among many americans which I'm hinestly disappointed about. In NYC where I am rn (from a NYCDOE survey I don't have atm) over 70% of parents want their students returning to in person learning (probably because most parents dont like having their kids at home which still in the time of pandemic is such a stupid reason). And seeing all of the other states that have recently seen spikes of COVID19 cases from students (especially Georgia), I hope we don't make that same mistake, hopefully Cuomo does something about this.

Hi bro i stayed in Alabama for 4 year i love USA as well , its like 2nd home to me . (Albama jokes incoming).

I absolutely despise current president because he is incompetant to talk and empathise.

Even top europeons leader failed , Macron had humility and apologised to french people and people love it.

Overall i dont think all of the Americans are ignorant not bashing everyone , i know few of my friends are still in quarantine even though they lost restaurant business in florida but there are minor especially my farmer group has stauch trump supporter sad and unfortunately brain washed.
