I think by the end of the story he'll be around YC2 level
Since he has to defeat Killingham then Van Augur
So he won't be "that" weak but not "that" strong in terms of EoS powerscaling
As for how this affects his character, it's not really something that matters for him. He doesn't need ot be that strong, just brave enough to fight strong opponents.
