Marco knee dropped King first before he kicked Queen but Queen got up first. So King was unconscious between the time after Marco knee dropped him and after Queen got up from Marco talon attack

Marco kicked Queen
Queen got up
Then King got up

So there was a time frame when King was unconscious between after Marco kicked him and after Queen got up

First let me say that I'm not taking sides in any power discussions, I'm only interested King, and what happened to him.

King was kicked in episode 1022 at 17:14, and lifted his head at 18:07. If he fainted, it was less than one minute.

The place in the manga where we saw King truly fainting was in chapter 1036, where it was obvious that 1. his eyes rolled back, and 2. his fire was out.

What we saw in the episode was that he was kicked, then for 52 seconds we didn't see him, then at 18:06 he was lying down with his fire burning, and at 18:07 he sat up.

So what I'm saying is, in these 52 seconds, we can't tell if he truly passed out or not. Maybe he did, but it is not shown. It is also possible he simply turned immobile from the shock of the pain. And as his fire was burning in the one second he was shown on his back, in that second he was obviously concious, and you can only speculate about his condition in the seconds before that.
