General & Others How much does the story change (& your enjoyment of it) if Pain survives & helps against Madara, and if by EOS Naruto & Sasuke are BOTH hokage?

Two what-ifs, the former bigger than the latter:

- after the talk no jutsu, Pain doesn't die, but remains as an ally during the 4th Ninja War and as a fellow Uzumaki for Naruto to bond with;

- the Nardo-Saske bromace leads Kishimoto to declare, by the epilogue, a dual hokageship, the first in the history of Konoha. How would you react to seeing Naruto and Sasuke co-hokages in the last page of the manga?

1. Strong dislike. Pain is a fine villain, but after his redemption, he just comes across as bland and pathetic. The only positive is that he wouldn´t end up bringing everyone from Konoha back to life, which would be interesting. But the likelyhood is he would just get ¨coolest guy¨ treatment, without anyone really meaningfully resenting him for what he did.

2.Meh, just pointless. That wasn´t really established as something Sasuke would be interested in until the very end of the story, and it´s not like he was particularly interested in working in an office ever. It would also be a bit bizarre to see Sasuke accepted as a Hokage, after being a member of the Akatsuki and associate with Orochimaru for years.
