How often do you feel depressed? And how do you face it?

Some of you guys have no idea what you are talking about... Depression can hit anyone, it's a disease which needs to be treated like any other sickness. Sometimes it fades away without anyone doing anything but sometimes you need help or someone to talk with. It's never too late to ask for help, I never went to see a specialist and I don't know much about depression but i think that you can talk with them even without paying anything just to ask for advices, there is even some national and international numbers you can call depending on your location.

I never get depression cus I know the world is trash and the humans in it just cus certain things ain't goin the way I like it and don't feel like doing this and that I'm good I don't need to feel dramatic and need to seek out help form a stranger I can control my sanity myself and think for myself

I’m kinda surprised by all of the “just stop being depressed then” attitude in the thread :/
If it worked like that everyone would be happy.

anyways, don’t let ppl invalidate how you feel. if you think that you’re depressed you should get it diagnosed and talk to a professional. I’m not saying it’ll just fix everything but from what I’ve seen with my best friend, it helped her a lot back when she had depression and I hope the best for you too

I used to feel it in times when there was lot of work pressure and grilling from Bosses real hard but I left that job ; but sometimes it was really bad and each morning before going to work I dreamt of leaving that company :josad:
