Theory How One Piece ends in 3 years; Teach conquers Mariejois

#1
So Oda has revealed that One Piece will end in 3 years.

Which is in line with other statements that this is the final saga. What does this mean? Well it means one thing:
  • the straw hats will only have one more big fight
Yes, I'm sad to break the news to you, but the marines, Teach, and the celestial dragons aren't each getting their own arcs. Look at the length of dressrosa or wano, and tell me how on earth we could give each big antagonist their own arc without it taking 6-10 more years, way off from Oda's estimates.
Rather, this is going to be like wano. Remember how everyone said Kid and Law wouldn't defeat BM only for that exact thing to happen? Yeah. Between Dragon, Sabo, Kid, and Law, the admirals are falling to side characters. There simply isn't time for Luffy to fight everyone.

I think the most logical way for Oda to wrap the story up in a single 3 year saga would be for Teach to conquer mariejois, kill Imu, take his DF, and become emperor of the world. This makes sense for a multitude of reasons:
  • Teach also carries the will of D, in killing Imu he fulfills his role as an enemy of God.
  • Imu, a faceless villain with little emotional connection to Luffy, is removed from the story in favor of the most developed villain in OP: Teach
  • Teach obtains his powerful 3rd DF, surpassing Kaido and the other legendary pirates, making him a worthy final opponent for Luffy
  • narrative surrounding joyboy**
** in regards to my final point. Joyboy is the warrior of liberation. In staying true to this title, most of Luffy's major opponents have been oppressing some group of people before Luffy defeated them. This point was especially apparent in wano, one of the most important arcs in OP; but it can also be seen in dressrosa, alabasta, and countless other pivotal arcs.
While Oda could deviate from this formula, as he has in some other arcs. It wouldn't make sense as the final arc of OP should showcase Luffy as the warrior of liberation moreso than any other arc.

As of now, Teach doesn't have a group of people he is oppressing. Yet he is the most important antagonist in OP. If Luffy is the sun, he is the darkness. So Teach needs to oppress some group of people that Luffy will then free. My guess: The celestial dragons.

Teach invades marejois and kills Imu; some high ranking CDs, like maybe the gorosei, escape to new marineford where they are defeated alongside the admirals by the revos and supernova. However the CDs that don't escape are enslaved by Teach; the pirates do onto them what they have done to others their entire lives. The celestial dragons realize the error of their ways and beg for someone to save them. Luffy ultimately shows up at the end and saves the CDs from Teach, as Roger once did by fighting Xebec.
Indebted to Luffy, the CDs willingly relinquish their power and go to a moon or a sky island to live away from everyone else. Slavery and oppression no longer exists. Luffy created one peace. The end.

Couple questions for you

1. How would he know Imu holds this powerful DF

2. How would Blackbeard and his crew make it up to Mariejois

3. Assuming all of this happens what does Oda do with Imu’s character before he gets killed off? If he dies without doing anything that’ll be unsatisfying, no?
