The following characters need to be defeated because the SHs need to save Elbaf and be the heroes:
Dorry
Brogy
Gaban
possibly Jarul
I think Gaban will outright be a hypetool for Shamrock, whenever he returns, with Luffy ultimately needing to save him.
Jarul is very old. I think it would be awesome if he got an epic death befitting of a Viking warrior. Imagining him taking the sword out of his head and slaying countless nightmares before dying from his head wound.
Lastly, there is Dorry and Brogy. Being as these two are Usopp’s “Masters”, I think they need to be beaten by Qilingham. As the latter has fear powers, it makes the most sense for Usopp to defeat him, even if it is in a highly situational and contrived way. This said, Dorry and Brogy are extremely powerful and so it might not make the most sense if a single Holy Knight could take them both out. Qilingham could very well use the children as hostage in order to land severe blows on the warriors.
That said, I must admit I am a bit biased to another possibility. Oda is still yet to address Kidd, who sunk off Elbaf. I do think it would be nice if Oda had the Kidd pirates attack the warriors(probably offscreen), as revenge for sinking their ship, before they leave Elbaf. That would salvage their hype after their defeat by Shanks and set up their return in the future. Then you can subsequently have the injured Warriors lose to Qilingham, before Usopp ultimately avenges them.
