I doubt that Luffy will survive final war

But there is big difference in this stories:

NARUTO:

story is typical shonen war against evil that wants to rule the world and uniting all nation against main evil;

ONE PIECE: story about mc who wants destroy the world and goes against united nations;

It's already different story.

I would like for a lot of characters to die, law's death is mandatory for me.

Oda will never do it imo. Even with WG winning against the alliance, Luffy alone will win in the end. If Oda can manage WG winning and make it relatable and into a gripping story about the protags' defeat and being crushed, i'll just apllaud Oda's boldness.

Won how? I can accept them beating the pirates and maintaining control. But if they get the ancient weapons and execute most pirate crews and yonko, thats a little wild. But its the risk we face when akainu is fleet admiral.

If the WG win at the end, the sequel is bound to happen.

Fortunately, Oda with his classic shounen formula won't allow his golden boy MC Luffy loses at the end. So we wouldn't see Two Piece Shippuden with Buffy as the MC anytime soon.

It's not a bad ending. Some story have sad ending. SH might be Winning but have a huge unthinkable damage.

Luffy might tank/absorb the WG last big attack, then attacks WG by his final move.
Later, Luffy is paralysed or even dying in a few moments later

If One Piece will end with the WG winning, if Luffy's dream will not come true (I highly doubt that), If the world will not eventually change for the better, I would feel like I felt when Ace died.

Back then, I was in love with Ace, and losing him was like my heart was ripped right out of my chest. I couldn't stand it, constantly thinking of ways he might have survived, and I really couldn't go on, until I wrote a huge fanfic of how I saved Ace, pulled him into our world, and when he healed enough we went on a boat journey to Japan so that Ace would ask Oda to get him back into his world.

So if the end will be as disappointing for me, I will surely not accept it and simply write another fanfic depicting how I would like One Piece to end.
