I navigatori dello stivale / Worstgen Italian Thread

#33
I just watched a video on youtube about a new trend for italian graduates and want to know what the italian bros here think about this. Do you think this is true?
Honestly to me it seems like propaganda to show a good image of the country. Then I'm from the north, maybe in the south that could be true. Anyway just to make an example I'm a graduate in environmental sciences and I live in a very small town surrounded by.. Wilderness. Yet the trend is, especially for young people, to abandon the place in order to go to to bigger cities where it is easier to found a proper job. It is also true that in the place where I live it is basically impossible to live of agriculture, even if you bet everything on quality (it is a mountain area btw). Maybe in south Italy the situation could be different, if people doesn't manage to find a job anywhere in the end they try to invent their own job, especially if the state pushes you with some kind of bonus, it is a job where you live in close contact with nature and you are your own boss.

Beautiful cartolinas aside at the moment in Italy there is an heated political debate about economic bonuses for the poorer classes of the society, and a lot of young people usually fall in these categories. Employers for temporary summer jobs (hotel and beach service) want this bonus to be reduced or eliminated so that young people will go back to work for them instead of taking these bonuses while on the other side young people denounce these employers gave salaries that are akin slavery. News show cases of people working for 10h a day for 2.5 euro/hour. This also explain why some want to escape and create their own job instead of "working" to enrich this kind of people.
