Speculations I think I Figured out what Zoro want's to ask Vegapunk.

He should be the most suprised among the Crew because. Bro was not even conscious Properly During the fight with kizaru.

It obviously raises the question to him , first he met them to annihilate the crew , Second time though zoro was unconscious. Zoro second time probably was Meeting him before anyone in Archaeology. Which wasn't shown to us , Zoro may have encountered him and Kuma probably blabbered about his request to " Vegapunk ".

Zoro being not aware of why Kuma helping them , Why Vegapunk took a decision in favour of pirates than marines.

Or if they didn't Meet or talk. I suspect mihawk must have said things about kuma to zoro on what happened to Kuma and how he was attacking everyone even Luffy and Ivankov.
Mihawk clearly isn't dumb to figure out what relation vegapunk and Kuma shares. You don't see cyborgs out on the sea casually.

This arc clearly focuses more on Kuma , Bonney and vegapunk.
I really don't think so We would anything related to wano over here now.

Zoro is heavy on his honor and warrior's code. Zoro doesn't like being in people's debts.

It must have been humbling and frustrating for Zoro to know that he not only couldn't come close to defeating Kuma twice, but that the man he couldn't damage at all, who he thought was his enemy, actually saved the Straw Hats twice.

Based on Zoro's character, he will seek aid for Kuma from Vegapunk, and, if that isn't possible, will then try to kill Vegapunk.

But Kuma was waiting for any of the SHs to come back so he could accomplish his mission of protecting the ship. Which he did once Franky showed up, right?
So anyone other than Franky coming there first would be a retcon because Kuma didn't have any free will left at that point to hold a convo.
