I am fine either way.
I've been reading one piece since 2005 and i am perfectly aware that oda doesn't kill his characters.
Except ace and WB that were meant to be and trigger something.
Maybe oda is too connected with his characters and he feels, it would be a let down if someone dies.
I don't know and i don't really care at this point, if i wanted deaths, there is a lot of manga and manhua to fill my need for more "realistic" situations in fiction.
