So you are saying a post-wano luffy cannot stall a aokji/kizaru long enough till they free ace and escape?

Kizaru can take on post-wano luffy one-on-one. thats how promising Luffy's growth has been.
Zoro can hang with aokiji like old rayleigh hangs with kizaru (i have zoro power somewhere between marco and admiral)

As for akainu and sengoku, that would leave old whitebeard a lot of room to operate, along with the help of yamato, law, sanji and more.

Kizaru v Luffy makes way less sense than Akainu v Luffy due the multitude of implications. Despite Oda is not always linear at all we can't throw logic away in such a dissolute way, when we have a clear case for both Luffy v Akainu (revenge of the brothers) and Zoro v Kizaru (Issho to rebel against the WG); not facts but legit positing based off some intriguing evidence nonetheless.

the argument here is not which one should get which matchup, but rather to place them with an opponent of equal/close power, such that the rescue mission is a success. Keep in mind Ace didn't die... this is ace rescue 2.0. So luffy doesn't need to avenge for ace's death at all

pre ts Luffy was able to almost save Ace, he only didnt because Ace was a complete idiot.

Mihawk taking part in it or not, even if it was just post TS Luffy alone, he would have been able to save Ace. Remenber, WB entire crew would be still there, and Luffy and Zoro can do well against yonkos. Luffy wouldnt be almost killedd by Akainu in this state and Ace wouldnt had to shield him.
