I forgot to actually answer rhe question but the answer is easily Kenshin don't get me wrong I fully believe in separating the art form the artist but many don't think that way if social media was around back then majority of these anime would be much more popular social media is the reason anime has become so mainstream but its also the reason many prominent figures are getting exposed for who they really are
The Kenshin authors pedophilia would of been bought to spot light a lot earlier than it did and many would boycott the manga and the anime
Even the reboot likely isn't getting has many views has it would if Kenshin author didn't have a criminal record

Some of the stuff in Berserk certainly wouldn't be liked by the masses.
Like Griffith sleeping with a 16 year old. Even though you could say he definitely got what was coming to him for doing it, it was clear the guy who punished him was also attracted to her and that guy never got comeuppance iirc.
