I think things are getting better lately, but, as long as we listen to a bunch of Media owned by rich liars, we'll just get paid lies.

Most forums are heavily curated to promote certain agendas now. This is one of the few ones that still has a decent amount of free discourse.

When you see a post, think to yourself "Is this person trying to fix a problem, or blame someone else who is involved, but not the cause of the problem?"

If they're trying to fix a problem by identifying the source and correcting it, you know it's a good post. If it's just someone trying to blame someone else for everything, it's just more crap.

Hello there,

In my opinion there's definitely a lot of bots and propaganda out there designed to provoke strong reactions. I think it is important to be mindful of the sources we follow and to cross check information from multiple perspectives to avoid falling into those traps.

At least this forum doesn't throw a shit feed of garbage at you like any other social media does.

Only bad thing is the spoiler culture for mangas. Especially when people are speculating over two lines for a hundred page, and it's even more garbage when it's fake spoilers...



Social media make people even more mentally-ill than they all already are.
