General & Others If WB wanted a family, then why didn't he married or had his own kids?

He was an Orphan living on an island most likely filled with orphans like himself, a place abandoned by the world and left to burn. So he took it upon himself to adopt those who were in the same predicament he was in as a child and care for them as a father so that they wouldn't also be left abandoned. That was also the main reason he allowed Teach to join, because he stated that he was an orphan.
Because One Piece has been very clear for a long time that found family is just as important (and in some cases more than) blood family.
I won’t be overly surprised if Whitebeard and Bakkin had a real child that died young, and Weevil is an early attempted clone of the kid. Grief causes Bakkin to go the crazy scientist route, while Whitebeard goes the adopt a bunch of orphans route.
