Because they would rather be dead then work for Kaido. So they will keep fighting until the alliance wins or they die.

While I do think he would rather die than work for Kaido, I don't agree with the last part.

Kid doesn't care about the Alliance, what he cares about is himself and his crew. While surrendering to Kaido is not an option, taking his crew and fleeing Wano is. If it means getting out safe and sound, then I think he would do it.

The fact we're approaching mainland Wano should provide him the opportunity to do so.

Oda has frequently alluded to the fact that pirates betray each other, what better way of making this a reality for the SHs, by having Kid 'betray' the Alliance?

Plot wise, this would be better in the long term as it would create more animosity between the Straw Hats and Kid Pirates, especially if Luffy and Kid are meant to be proper rivals.

Completely goes against the character entirely. Kid literally the whole arc felt “he’s” capable of beating Meme or Kaido. He’s not going to suddenly run, because he’s not going to stop thinking he can win. until he’s dead!!

We don't know the circumstances of the battle against the Red Hair Pirates. Assuming that he fled is just like assuming that he got his arm cut, that Shanks did it and so on... that's full speculation.
In Totland he never intended to start an all out war, he said that he was just there to steal something and injured a Commander in the process (collateral effect).

Onigashima is a whole different case, he's here to fight. He already confronted Kaido before so he knows perfectly the risks of it, he didn't bent his knees/flee back then so why should he do so now? He's here to smash skulls and get some payback, the only other option is to die trying. If you really think that Kidd will escape at this point, you really don't understand what his character is about.

He is probably a man of honor given how he didn't care losing his arm in order to fullfil his thirst for conquer. So I believe he will probably attempt to bring down one yonko as long as there's sufficient ground for it.

If Kidd flees like that, then it will make him look more pathetic which I won't like at all. If he takes the copy of Kaido's poneglyph (that no one knows about) or something like that then it would be dope. But I still think he will fight till the Raid ends

He was badly betrayed by Apoo and Hawkins i don't think he would do the same to Luffy who seriously helped him get back his spirit in Udon. He also seems obsessed with gaining fame and notoriety this would be too great of an opportunity for him to pass up and would be huge stain on his reputation if he ran away when he has all these incredibly powerful allies who share same goal as him. This is a different situation from when he invaded Big mom territory to steal something or got in a fight with the Red hair pirates

This says it all about how Kidd would feel about running away. “It’s do or die.” He crucified a crew for trying to run away and you think he’d run away? Lol

Kidd might not care about the alliance but this dude is last guy I would expect to run away. Do you not realize that Kidd was planning to invade Onigashima with just his crew. He just got lucky to be invading at the same time as the alliance. He’s crazy lol. Only time he’ll “give up” is when he’s dead or can’t fight anymore.

With Shanks we don’t know how this went. Maybe Shanks cut his arm off and then he passed out and Killer took him away and fled after Shanks spares then. I wouldn’t assume he just ran away.

With Big Mom, it wasn’t really running away. He went there to take something, he got what he wanted and then left injuring a commander in the process. It’s not like he fled without being able to achieve what he wanted. His objective wasn’t to beat Big Mom or her commanders, so I wouldn’t count this as running away. Now his objective here on Onigashima is beating the Yonko, if he were to flee without doing anything that would be running away and would go against his character.

fleeing is when he abandons it during the raid... if he has lost and he leaves which is still unlikely... he won't be fleeing..

i don't see a reason why he would and for what purpose.. when his comrades are ready to die for him and so is he

Kid can't betray because he isn't true in an Alliance with them. He just want to do his things. He is only cooperating with them because they have similar interest and he can't beat alone a Yonko.
But give him enough respect, I'm pretty sure he is not the type of pirate that run from a battle. That is weakling Luffy only.
