If Yamato was Kaido's clone, she'd be male, and probably have the same personality with less strength, so it wouldn't be interesting.
However, If Yamato was cloned half from Kaido and half from a female character, that would make more sense. But what female character loves Oden that much? Toki? Shinobu?

I despise any kind of character-deliberate impersonation. Yamato keep saying by herself that she's Oden, thats what make me dislike Yamato. If Yamato is Kaidou's clone physically, but having a different character traits, i might like him/her more.

If Weevil is Whitebeard's clone, the one who made him is probably the "self-proclaimed scientist" Ms Bakin. So obviously it's a failed clone (see the stitches around his neck).

Vegpaunk didn't try to clone Kaido, he tried to clone his DF. and he succeeded, except for its exterior color.
