Just humour me on this, if you could dictate what the next arc of one piece is, either Oda letting you choose what it should be about or influencing/bribing him or even being allowed to write it yourself somehow, what would you like the arc to be about?
I'd really love to see a wild west arc desperately with a real Texan vibe too naturally. Gunslingers, strong gunslingers and thus haki usage and devil fruit with gunslinging combinations too.
I'd tie this into sniper island too as a connected island naturally specialising in snipers and connect it to daddy materson,yasopp, hibari, van Auger etc somehow.
I would have made it Shanks personal territory with him and his crew being te sheriff, deputy and enforcers or whatever.
I would have had the orange admiral debut from here, a martial artist and gunslinger who can fight both in close and far range easily but prefers long range too.
I would have made their justice either wild/chaotic justice, retributive justice, hunting justice or lawful justice (as in relying on trials and maybe juries or something and doung executions frequently as needed).
This would have been an Usopp and franky specialist arc but I'd make it Sanjis too a little, as he was meant to be a gunslinger too originally and somehow some shine for the other SHs especially Brook and Robin.
I would have had zoro and sanji improving their mobility and ranged attacks respectively, usopp learning to use guns even non lethally and franky getting to use Cannons on himself as upgrades/new weapons.
I'd love to see gunslinging cowgirls nami and Robin, Robins devil fruit would go INSANE with gun spamming and easily reloading rapidly and burst firing too.
But her and nami have insane potential for sniping too.
Although I really wanna see nami rock a shotgun too.
I'd probably give the SHs some kind of specialist, less lethal guns that synergies with their fighting styles like absorbing and shooting electricity, fire, ice or even compressed sound waves for example.
I'd explore what justice really means especially in regards to Marines but also pirates (bandits) and civilians. Honour, duelling etc.
Alternatively I'd have this territory be where the RHP faces the BBP, Shanks vs blackbeard in a fight to the death but I'd make at least jozu be present too and ideally izo if he wasn't dead too ofc sigh lol.
I'd rope in capone, apoo, Kidd too somehow potentially.
Another alternative idea is to make it specifically a Marine location for training their firearms users and potential vice Admirals and Admirals too or something.
Just throwing out ideas anyway. The wild west theme is the most important part to me, the absolute constant I need regardless.
Oda had his wild west one shot manga called Wanted too and I'd also be inspired by Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Part 7 of Jojo, Black Lagoon for this but also obviously wild west films and series especially clint Eastwood and john wayne.
