Yes or no. This is just in general, would you have abandoned him to join the marines then try and backstab him despite being your only family left.

As much as I like Cora he’s still a bitch and natural born rat of the highest class, after going through what they went through

1. I would cling to Doffy and idolize to be as powerful as him after he was chosen by fate to survive being burned at stake and shot with arrows

2. Destroy all the peasants who directed their anger at innocent kids just because they got dealt a bad hand in life. Now you will be dealt an even worse hand slave.

3. Marines are lame and I would never bend to their restrictive structure. Respect the cause but I’d never be at anyones beck and call risking my life to fight random ass pirates attacking weak ass people all while being caged by a corrupt government. Plus they work for the CD which abandoned Doffy and Rosi

Corazon is like Itachi for me. I like him but I don’t. Someone who betrays their own family and clan is permanent scum fr but at the same time I understand they are screwed up in the head. So I guess if I were Doffy I wouldn’t have killed Cora, just imprisoned him for life and attempt to brainwash him to join the Dark Side.

Doflamingo was right. Their father owed them this heritage. He threw it all away, sealed the death of his wife and led his children and himself into poverty. All due to his own mental gymnastics. He could've changed things from inside but he chose that way.
He shouldn't (and doesn't) complain that doffy chose his way.

Snitching is a bitch move. He should've spoken up and fight/died or he should've sworn loyalty.
