That Zoro was the only one capable of killing him, if he ever was to lose control?

Just by sheer logic someone equal to someone is not capable of doing that. The Person has to be stronger in order to be able to kill the person who asks him to kill him when he loses control.

So just logic alone debunks the claim "zoro and sanji has to be equal because both are Wings".

Wings rather stands for status, not for power. When Oda called Zoro and Sanji both important wings, he didn't make an statement of their power being equal, rather saying they both are very "IMPORANT" to elevate Luffy into becoming Pirate King. They have identical roles to push luffy into becoming pirate king. Thats what Oda meant in sbs. He even used "important" before using the term "wings".

Show me an panel, where the Manga directly states, that zoro and sanji are equal in power. You can also use sbs if there exists any sbs claiming that zoro and sanji are indeed equal in power.

For prove that sanji is admitting inferiority, here is the mentioned panel:


This was when Sanji got his Exoskeleton PU and Rooftop Zoro before awakening conquerors coating and KoH.

So exoskeleton Sanji was confident that zoro without awakening advanced CoC and his new Mode would be able to kill and stop sanji from rampaging.

Because the two have complete faith in one another. Sanji had faith zoro would grow to surpass an opponent comparable to the one sanji would surpass if he allowed himself to become a warrior of science.

Sanji didn’t know how he’d do it but sanji had faith he would. And Zoros the only one who could kill sanji if he lost his emotions. He knows Luffy wouldn’t do it and no other straw hat can even approach his level of strength at that point.

It’s a scene that shows the depth of the straw hats faith in one another and the strength of sanji conviction to retain who he is. It’s not a power scaling scene.

Simply because he's the only SH whom he believes that can kill him... Not that Zoro wants to kill Sanji, but other SHs would not do it as they are too emotional... He knows that Zoro can honor his wishes as a respect...

Luffy won't do it to a crewmate and will do anything to bring him back to his senses... Jinbe won't do it because of the guilt he had because Sanji once blamed him for Nami's suffering... Sanji is well aware of those...
