Theory Imu’s mark is an advanced DF awakening technique

Imu has a mark that lets him share his powers with others, letting them become immortal, heal, and teleport.

What if the mark isn’t something exclusive to Imu, but rather a technique any awakening user is capable of if they are strong enough?

If paramecia and mythic zoan awakenings can spread the user’s powers to their surroundings, isn’t the mark just a more powerful application of this? Permanently sharing the user’s power with others for them to use at their discretion.

Obviously I’d say the effect of this depends on the awakening user’s DF. Imu can bestow immortality, healing, and access to the abyss.

Luffy’s mark probably lets him bestow Nika powers. This is why the Nika fruit is so dangerous. It let’s anyone become a Nika. I suspect though that bestowed Nikas probably wouldn’t have full access to Luffy’s arsenal. Maybe they’d just get the drums of liberation heartbeat or basic gomu gomu powers.

Teach will probably never get this power because he doesn’t give a shit about his crew and I think the idea behind the mark is based on the user sharing his powers.

Oda could however give it to Kid and/or Law as a way to make them Yonko EoS despite their crews being not that strong at the moment.

Alright, I'll humor this...

So, could someone have every mark from every devil fruit at the same time then?

There is no limit to how many marks a person can have?

I mean there are only a handful of awakened DF users. Not even all top tiers have it.

If we say the mark is the next level of awakening, it’s possible that only Imu and Luffy could gain this tier of DF awakening.

it’s also possible that different marks work in different ways and not all literally bestow powers onto others.

Ex. Kid’s mark lets him create automaton robots without direct control from himself, Fuji can create permanently floating islands, Kuzan/Akainu permanently reshape the environment.

Maybe only god fruits can directly bestow powers onto people.

Ultimately I’d say the thing all marks have in common is permanent transfer of DF powers without need for exertion on the user’s part.

G5 and Kid/Law’s awakenings all require immense amounts of energy to use.

With the mark, the user has mastered it to such a degree that they can permanently spread their powers without it deactivating unless they specifically will it to deactivate.

I think you're all over the place with this idea.
