Hi Worstgen,

Imu being the "Sea Devil" doesn't make sense.

I think people are just trying to attribute things like the creation of Devil Fruits to Imu, but it's actually much more likely that the person who created Devil Fruits was JoyBoy or at least someone from the Ancient Kingdom who is regarded as having Superior Technology and Great Ideals.

All the superior technology that became a secret... Imu doesn't know how to make it. That probably includes the knowledge to make Devil Fruits. He can't make them. He has just ruled the world since he attacked the people who did make them. He is largely unaware of how to actually use that technology.

What makes you believe that Imu has power over sea water?

If you can't convince me about that... then I'm calling you guys out on talking about imaginary things.

Your theory is insufficient to me.

It is a type of theory that I have come up with myself in the past, and I have since dismissed it because it's uncreative.
- What you are discussing is a machine capable of creating Devil Fruits... or something like that. I have discussed this myself. Do you know what is the challenging part of it? Trying to explain what kind of energy this person is using in a machine to create Devil Fruits. You can say things like the fruits are full of radiation because they taste bad and make other inferences like that but it doesn't go anywhere.

The problem with Devil Fruits is their energy type is actually SUBTLE ENERGY. It comes from Life Force energy and what is known as Life Light. If you look at it like that, then whoever made the entire universe and Haki is controlling all this stuff, and it's all included in Devil Fruits because Devil Fruits encompass everything that has ever been a "thing".

I went down theories of machines creating Devil Fruits... a guy putting his soul into a seed and the seed becoming a tree creating a variety of Soul Fruits... I've gone down a Matter Replicator theory... I've gone down theory after theory with this.

The only one that REALLY makes sense is the One Piece acts like the Iconian World Heart from Star Trek which means the purpose of the One Piece is actually to RECREATE THE ANCIENT KINGDOM.

You know the entire, "Dawn Will Come Again" thing or whatever? That basically means the Ancient Kingdom's Technology and Ideals will make a new civilization based on the Ancient Kingdom's cultural beliefs and values. That's really all it is. So, I think the One Piece is a "Library". It's like a Datacron from Star Wars that contains all the knowledge of the Ancient Kingdom.

ALL THE KNOWLEDGE of the Ancient Kingdom is probably worth way more than anything else that could ever be the One Piece.

You could suggest this about anybody because there is no reason to think Imu has sea water powers and there is no reason to think anyone else does except Poseidon, and it's more likely that Poseidon has something to do with that.
