Imu’s fruit is very similar to that of Big Mom’s. By sacrificing some of his lifespan, he can give others “the power of evil”. This turns them into giant demons with glowing eyes, not too different from what happens to BM when she enhanced herself with her own lifespan.
BM’s power has several limitations. She cannot put souls into living people(bar herself) or corpses.
Given how Imu can put “evil” into living people, i think it’s very likely he can do the same to corpses.
This is why we are seeing God Valley now, of all places. It will tie directly into the elbaf storyline. Imu will use a demon made of Rocks’s corpse against the SHs.
This will probably be what Loki’s fight will be. A battle against demon undead Rocks.
