He ate some sort of DF
He has been alive for at least 800 years.

I also feel like Imu will wind up being a woman. It could be Lili, or someone related to her (by blood or otherwise). If she (I'm just going to assume she's a 'she' now) ate some kind of devil fruit that boosts longevity or even grants immortality in a way, it could explain her smaller physique, the physique of a child. When she sits upon the throne and when she stands in the indoor field by the Den Den Mushi, she seems awfully small. Or we could all be wrong and Imu is just some kind of weird gnome.
