Base Franky is a brawler.

Franky Shogun is also not a swordman. Sure he uses sword but that is not his main fighting style. Kizaru also used sword when he fought Rayleigh yet he didn't use sword when he fought WB in MF.

If sword is not Franky main fighting style then Franky is not a swordman.
