Shower thought.
Is Fujitora a hypocrite for wanting to abolish a Schichibukai system because of them abusing their power and abusing the countries etc?
But he is "blind" on all of the horrors that happen in Mariejois and World Government in general.

How do you know he is blind to the World Government's horrors?

He's been in the Marines for around a year at most. The man already fucked them over hard multiple times now. Oda has already implied that Fujitora has an anti-WG mindset.

He refused the orders given by the World Government, and instead told his underling Vice-Admiral to follow what he himself deems to be the best course of action.

He publicly told the people of Dressrosa and King Riku that the one responsible for all the shit that happened to the Dressrosa is none other than the World Government itself. In his eyes the Warlords of the Seas were one of the "corrupt" things about the World Government that you're talking about. It's not like the Warlords were an entity on their own, they were part of the World Government's forces.

Capitalizing it all up with this his apology where he spoke on behalf of the Government. Do you think the Gorosei or AKainu or Kong would've done this shit? No, because the World Government is never wrong. Fujitora purposely let things play out so he could expose some of the World Government's corruption. And in the end embarrass them with one of their admirals apologizing openly.

So no Fujitora is not blind to the World Government's other horrors, however, the Warlords were simply a major corruption of the World Government that he needed to get rid of first. As you can't take on "criminals" while being allied with them and letting them take over countries. We don't know what Fujitora's plans regarding the Government are now, but based on Oda's anti-WG thing with him & GB, it's certain that he won't stop at just the Warlords, but work on exposing or correcting the other fuck ups done by the World Government.

Unlike Dragon who seeks to bring change from the outside by directly rivaling the Celestial Dragons. Fujitora seeks to bring a change by changing the Marines and World government from within.

Where in the hell did you get this from lol.
I mean I thought about his actions and he plays a good cop here and there bows to Riku, tries to abolish the Schichibukai but he never speaks of the horrors that Celestial Dragons does. Slavery and all of that shit. He is "blind" on the things that surround him but acts like he's a good person away from it.

As I said this is just a shower thought.

ps. Yeah, he blinded himself because of what he saw but I don't want to talk about this. We need more context on this matter.

For all we know he has plans to abolish slavery in the World Government as well or for all we know mans even trying to get Sakazuki to join him on a rebellion against the World Government, like we don't really know where he stands other than the fact he's anti-WG in mindset. That's why what Lee asked is important; where'd you get that he's blind to the other things around him that the World Government does?

is it a shonen thing? One Piece is the only shonen i have read. seeing fanbase always want to solve a problem with force leads me to believe "maybe shonen are like these", "maybe shonen fanbase like this" or both?
i mean what do we expect Fuji to do? drop a meteor on Mariejoa and call it a day? not everyone is Messiah Jesus Luffy who will solve all the problem in the world overnight. U can bet ur ass if Jesus Luffy was on earth he will solve poverty, Over population, climate issues over the lunch break.
Xione and garp explained it perfectly. also did we skip the part of dressrosa that didnt have fight? bcuz the arc starts with Fuji opposing Luffy+Law and one thing led to another and letter he gambled on Luffy. In a way we can call Fuji a mastermind. with pirate taking out pirate he made a case for himsef that he later capitalize in Reverie and abolished Warlords system. He is only one man and certainly not the strongest in the world. and even the strongest in the world never managed to take out the behemoth known as WG. fuckers has been in power for 800+ yrs.

as for the topic: imo everyone is a hypocrite, fuji included but not for the reason stated in OP.
PS: i am not knocking on OP or anything. if i came across that way my apology. i just find it weird that we expect Fuji accomplish many stuffs alone. tbh he achieved more than some char can say for themselves. that too with his late intro in the story and not being a key player in the story.
