General & Others Is it consistent that Rayleigh didn't move a finger to save Ace?

We know that Rayleigh has been retired for 25 years, however, when it comes to Luffy, he does everything and even risks his life. It is not strange that he did not move a finger to save his ex-captain's son. Of course, he was not alone and had the whole WB Fleet on his side. Without considering that Sabaody and Marineford are very close. Tell me what you think of it.

I think Answer is somewhere inbtween Ace n Luffy conversation when he arrives at MF. Though i don't remember how it went exactly bt i think Ace tried to send Luffy off with same reasoning.

Ace was nw part of WB crew, that was their crew internal matter. And Rayleigh must respect WB enough to not hurt WB crew pride.

It seems strange to me that Roger didn't say anything about his relationship with Ace's mother to Ray. Ace, then resembles Roger young man and has the D in the name. But apart from that, part of the execution had also been passed on to Sabaody. When Ace's true identity was found, Ray was due to leave immediately. Since MF was also very close.

Did he even know Ace was his son ?
he didn't know about ace
From the moment Sengoku reveals that Ace is Roger's son in front of the whole world. Rayleigh could no longer not know. He should have come immediately to Marinford who was very close to Shabondy. Law had made the trip during the war, Rayleigh had no excuse.

I think Rayleigh behavior was OOC (so Oda kind forgot).

I don't really know how close they are, but even if he came what could he do all alone? And with out a single day of training in 25 years?
