Wano had a lot of cringe moments, a lot of try hard "surprises", really shitty backstories like Oden, Yamato, really bad side characters like scabbards, momonosuke, Yamato, really garbage fights like Luffy vs Kaido, Sanji vs Queen, Law/Kidd vs Big Mom.

A lot of wasted potential, open plots that went no where I mean you name it.

But one thing Oda pulled nearly perfectly was Killer's entry, and keeping his presence a surprise in form of Kamazou.

Most of us were convinced it was Denjiro, and no one saw this coming

Not gonna lie it was emotional too, Killer literally went through Hell for Kidd, ate a smile that will show his smile, something he hates. Got himself in bandages and played the role of local murderer just so kidd isn't killed.

Can't think of a better surprise Oda pulled post time skip.

What do you guys think?

Definitely One of the best surprises of the whole Post Time - Skip.

I can't say for sure that was the absolute most surprising moment tho, a reread would be needed for that.

As a character himself he was definitely the best surprise of Wano tho, without a doubt.

I was an anime only watcher when Wano began at manga and just changed after a few weeks without anime during pandemics.

So when I read the Kamazou plot manga was already starting Onigashima raid. I really didn't care or paid much attention to it. So to me it was irrelevant.
