With the revelation that Kanjuro can indeed draw, it begs the question if the kanjuro we knew all this while was really what Kanjuro looked like. Or if it is merely a drawing the real kanjuro hid behind.
I only bring this up because the kanjuro we see in the flashback straight up looks non human. A silhouette is one thing, but this thing we see looks as if it has body made of slime. Just look at the panel where Orochi gives Kanjuro his DF, Kanjuro's arm looks like its made of slime. He even has these weird slime balls coming off of his body. Surely Oda could have drawn a silhouette that was nondescript instead of making Kanjuro look like a literal monster.
What if Kanjuro isn't fully human? What if he indeed has some sort of slime-like body? He could still be a Kurozumi, perhaps he had a Kurozumi father but a nonhuman mother? Perhaps the secret of the Kurozumi clan is that none of them are humans and Orochi also has a slime like body.
anyways leave your thoughts in the comments below as to why Kanjuro's body looks so strange in this flashback
