Yep, didn't you see the panel where kaido broke king out? King was tied up with Lilith collecting "samples of DNA" let's just say vegapunk didn't use kings blood to make the Seraphim.

Where did you see Lilith in that panel? It was just Alber chained to a CT scanner, with some band-aids in several places, including one on his carotid artery on his neck. Although it is suspicious that he wore only his underwear.
