In OP there are two very heavily Christian coded characters: Kuma and Mihawk.
Kuma seems to be a very progressive Christian.
Basically, all of Mihawk’s actions are self serving, contrary to the teachings of Christianity.
Hence I think it’s very likely that whereas Kuma is a progressive Christian, Mihawk is probably a right wing evangelical.
This fits in with his willingness to support the WG of it is to his benefit, as well as the fact that he is the mentor of Zoro, the minority hunter.
Overall I think it’s very likely that Mihawk:
Kuma seems to be a very progressive Christian.
- Frees slaves
- Is best friends with an LGBT person(Iva)
- Wants to change the world for the better

Overall I think it’s very likely that Mihawk:
- Opposes gay marriage
- Is anti-abortion
- Would support Donald Trump if he promised him shichibukai status
- Doesn’t believe in evolution
- Is an antivaxxer
- An ardent defender of the right to bear swords
