Will the “older brother more strong” trope be broken and Luffy will be the one telling Sabo he will always be there to protect him?

Then Sabo will turn into Nami and be able to channel the Plot Plot no Mi and Fist of Love so he’s able to severely harm Luffy despite being a weakling?

The whole premise that "Of course Sabo is stronger than Luffy, he's the older Brother" that was used to justify Sabo > Katakuri and so on, was always flawed and silly: a bad argument with questionable reasoning.

Luffy is stronger than Sabo, but I think that I'd go even beyond that and say that Luffy has edged out against Sabo ever since he revealed his Gear 4th in Dressrosa, and Luffy had to be the one to finish off the bad guy rather than Sabo.

I don't think that Sabo's performance against Fujitora changes that, since Luffy also fought Fujitora, with a similar level of seriousness, and much like Sabo, wasn't overwhelmed even while limiting himself to Gear 2nd and 3rd.

Currently, Luffy is top 10 in the entire One Piece world. Sabo > Luffy is pretty frankly ridiculous by this point. People should just drop it.

Luffy had to finish the bad guy cos he is the MC. It is as simple as that. At Dressrosa, Oda was tryna highlight the fact that Luffy still had a a stronger older brother who had his back.

Sabo just added a df to his arsenal that made Ace a second commander level combatant and hasn't even mastered it yet
Last we heard, Sabo most likely fought an admiral or two, and had one of em in bandages
