I wouldnt call him useless he has strong summonings and very, very strong taijutsu and two mastered S class jutsu, i think he was strongest shinobu out of konoha 11 easily, probably highest battle IQ too

Very strong taijutsu? He doesn’t have a single amazing taijutsu feat during the beginning of shippuden, all of his decent feats were with Kurama

He had feats before TS lol also he could throw hands with base jiraiya, though sure jiraiya wasnt trying but still
