Before TS Gear 2 is much faster than zoan form Lucci.

Crocodile also said awakening doesn't boost combat speed. It only boosts toughness and recovery speed.

Awakened Lucci never showed impressive combat speed against Gear 5 either. He cannot land a single hit. Dodged by Gear 5 who was sleeping in the middle of dodging.

A solid argument with backed up evidences is appreciated.

Not really unless you think casual Zoro is equal to current G2 Luffy or above him in speed, since Lucci matched him in combat for a little bit
But if you don't think that then there's no proof Lucci is equal to G2 Luffy. Not like that's a bad thing given that Luffy is a top tier now so who cares

He's fast as Luffy in pre TS, they literally fought in extreme diff .... Iirc Lucci used his skinny zoan mode to gain more speed. I wonder why he didn't used it on Egghead...

I have no problem with casual Zoro is slower than Gear 2 but serious Zoro is as fast or faster than Gear 2 even though it's still questionable lol.

Tbh Luffy already had top tier speed in WCI when he dodged Big Mom Prometheus attack. The same Big Mom who fought Kaido for 3 days lol.

Gear 2 Luffy was much faster than zoan Lucci before TS. Not once zoan Lucci managed to keep up with fresh Gear 2 Luffy. The fight went extreme diff because the effect of Gear 2 exhausted Luffy so bad that it gave Lucci the opportunity to overwhelm Luffy lol.

Current Luffy doesn't have any side effect from Gear 2. Realistically he should be able to beat awakened Lucci with just Gear 2. Though it would be harder because awakening boosts Lucci toughness and recovery speed so Gear 2 Luffy needs more attacks to take him down.

Gear 2 had to hit 3 opponents (including Hyouzou) at once lol. Do you have any proof awakened Lucci can blitz Hyouzou?
