Leaning more towards Weevil being a "failed" clone made using both Whitebeard and Stussy's lineage factor, as Stussy said to Marco that Vegapunk would confirm Weevil's relation to Whitebeard, which makes sense if Vegapunk's the person who created Weevil.
It does not really make sense as there is a clear distinction between being a clone and the son of someone, what narrative is she trying to push, this also mean stussy a weirdo from a to z

Since Stussy was the Vegapunk's first successful clone, could it be that Weevil was a former unsuccessful clone? That is my guess, currently.
The thing is vegapunk is supposed to miss but in a really minor way such as the colour of a devil fruit transformation, if only is appearance was the issue, I would hear it but weevil seems to be brain dead from what we know of him

Maybe instead of a literal clone, he could be a test tube baby of sorts.

I don't think it's likely that he's just a normal child of Stussy and Whitebeard though because that wouldn't really explain why Stussy said Vegapunk would confirm it, there has to be a scientific reason like cloning or unnatural conception to explain Vegapunk's involvement.

If he a tube baby, that make him wb's son

Once we found out about clones, I instantly thought of the possibility Weevil is a failed clone of WB. Seeing as Stussy (The clone) has vampire or succubus powers, Miss Buckingham (The OG) most likely stole blood from WB while they were in Rocks. Could have been after they disbanded too since they knew each other. I dont think WB would go along with something like that.

Yes, he is.

Whitebeard has a specific fetish.

Look at his nurses

Miss Buckingham is fully aware of that

In her prime she looked like this

By the way, Whitebeard probably is a bucaneer and so is Weevil

Weevil is ugly because he was one of the babies that the World Governement tried to kill trying to kill Roger's baby, but he survived

The Seraphim are perfect and improved clones who are bound to follow IMU's orders.

The Pacifistas are perfect clone-machines, who follow their originator (Kuma)'s will, and protect his daughter.

Weevil is an imperfect clone who is doing everything in spite of his originator/father, attacking past allies and territories of his.

Each generation will teach something to the other, thus the Seraphim will rebel to IMU and follow their own will, Weevil will learn to protect WB's legacy, and the Pacifistas will use their "heart" to be less machine.

He is WB's son or rather clone that was made from his DNA without his knowledge or consent.
Original Stussy seems like the weird yandere type to secretly take some of WB's hair and keep it to smell it or do questionable and deviant things with it.
When Rocks fell apart and she joined MADS as their mascot/freeloader, and Vegapunk discovered the stuff about lineage factor, she prob made a deal with VP to give him her DNA so he can make Clone Stussy and in exchange he uses WB's DNA she has to create an embryo and put it in her belly so that way she gains a living reminder of WB that is better than some hair strands.

As for why he looks weird and is kinda mentally limited is just pure chance.
There are many healthy good looking parents that sometimes give birth to not-good looking children with special needs.
Doesn't mean he is a failed clone.
But hey, at least his mom loves him.

I hope Clone Stussy links up with them, since genetically speaking they are the closest thing she has to a family.
She can be Bukkin's younger twin sister and Weevil's cool aunt who's only a couple of years older than him as she is the first MADS clone.

I hope we will reach an answer to this question either at the end of the Egghead arc or beyond. Perhaps it will explore a bit more of what Newgate and Stussy's relationship was really like both during and after Rocks Pirates dissolution. Since Weevil is 35, he must have been "created" around 3 years post God Valley Incident.

As for the successful clone, Stussy, she has already demonstrated kinder qualities, and it would be good to see if she can find a renewed purpose in life.
