General & Others Is Zoro the vice-captain or close? Is he Lufy's right-hand man?

When Luffy first met Zoro, he had no crew. He barely had anything. To him, Zoro was some bad-ass with a bad reputation. He's the first person he invites to his crew, but Zoro tells him to piss off.

The young Gol D. Roger was clearly designed to look like Luffy, even sporting his trademark Straw Hat (the same one mind you). Roger is in Romance Dawn Luffy's situation: barely has anything and ask some guy he thinks is cool to join him, and he is told to piss off. He even stole the boat, which implies he's viewed as a dick by others.

Rayleigh is the vice captain of the Roger Pirates. There's no "official" vice captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, but Zoro is as close as you'll get to one, having those responsibilities when the time calls for a vice captain.

The Blackbeard/Whitebeard parallel would represent the one who stands before the Pirate King on his throne. If Akainu parallels Garp, then he represents the Pirate King's most troublesome naval opponent, being the GOAT of some major event. Rayleigh is Roger's right hand man, but does Zoro fill that role for Luffy?

Rayleigh is the best character, he is better than Zoro.

Zoro is still very beastly though.

Rayleigh is the jack of all trades.

Rayleigh is Sanji and Zoro in one person.

Take all the skill of Sanji and combine it with Zoro, you get Rayleigh.

Sanji is an Advisor, tactician and is wise. He is the one saving the crew from disaster all the time

Zoro is officially stated to be the combatant of the strawhats like Lucky Roo.

He does take charge of the crew if Sanji allows or aggrees with him.

Although he is Vice Captain like.

2. Rayleigh is a womanizer as Sanji
3. Rayleigh is smart/advisor as Sanji
4. Also Rayleigh can use his kicks as Sanji.

Rayleigh is a mix of 2. You can't deny this
Also Zoro lacks CoC...

This is why I hardly see EoS Zoro equal to Prime Rayleigh.

Zoro and Sanji both have 4 similarities with Rayleigh.

I forgot Rayleigh can coat ships too ..

Zoro is a fighter! While Rayleigh is VC officially.

Luffy will surpass Roger not just he is individually stronger but because he will have allies! Something roger didnt have.

If you wann compare luffy and crew, compare them to Shanks crew... that's luffy goal to surpass
Zoro is Mihawk of this era , by having Raleigh traits a bit

Shanks : Luffy
Mihawk : Zoro
Benn : Sanji
Roo : Jinbei
Yassop : Ussop
