Since the thread is about Fujitora's greatness in the marine history, I think it is only appropriate that we first then take a brief look at the history of the marines. The known history we have for the Marines only is about 40-50 years old, so not really a lot of time. But I am going to break down each era of One Piece by the Fleet Admiral that was in charge.

Fleet Admiral Kong:

If Fujitora is the greatest marine in the making, then Kong is presently the greatest Marine that we know of. He is by far the longest serving Fleet Admiral of the Marines, then now switching over to the position of Commander in Chief. Taking a look at his reign:

  • Was the reigning Fleet Admiral during the era of Rocks D. Xebec, which ended at the giant world-shaking event known as the God Valley Incident. In this event he sends out Vice Admiral Garp, 39-40 y/o at the time, to assist the Celestial Dragons
  • He continued his reign into the era of Gol D. Roger, an era lasting over a decade. In which he sent out the likes of Sengoku, Tsuru, Garp, VA Sakazuki/Kuzan/Borsalino/ among other marines to constantly deal with the likes of Shiki, Roger, Newgate, and other pirates. With events like Shiki’s attack on Marineford and the Edd War taking place. Along with Roger’s anointment as the King of the Pirates by the masses of the world, following with the Pirate King’s execution
  • He at the end of the era of Gol D. Roger, oversaw the mass genocide of children ordered by the World Government, to snip out any possible bloodline of the Pirate King
  • He then remained Fleet Admiral a good portion of the Whitebeard Era, where he oversaw the infamous Ohara Buster Call
  • Then sometime in Newgate’s era post-Ohara, he is promoted to the Commander in Chief of the World Government
  • He was still the Fleet Admiral during the time of Corazon’s death
  • Rise of the 3 powers balance system happened under him
  • Rise of the Freedom Fighters under Monkey D. Dragon
A reign of Fleet Admiralship lasting 25 years at the vey least, and overall reign as a military leader now extending to over 38 years at the minimum. If we are to assume he is of the same age as Garp and Sengoku, then that means he took the reign of Fleet Admiralship in his late 30s – early 40s. And if we are to assume he is a decade older than them, then that’d mean at the age of late 80s-early 90s, this man is powerful enough to reign as the Commander in Chief of the World Government. Which is insane.

Fleet Admiral Sengoku:

The 2nd longest reigning Fleet Admiral of the 3 that we know. He approx. reigned for 10 years or so. Taking a look at his reign:

  • The rise of the three admirals: Sakazuki, Borsalino, and Kuzan all come into power under his reign. Which we see they were sort of like proteges for the Tsuru/Sengoku/Garp
  • Rise of the Emperor Shanks
  • Rise of the Revolutionary Army under Monkey D. Dragon
  • Rise of the supernovas
  • Marineford war
Fleet Admiral Sakazuki:

The newest Fleet Admiral who has taken the reign just under, in the short reign he's had let's take a look at his reign:

  • The Marines are now the strongest they've ever been. With the addition of great number of marines through the World Military Draft
  • The addition of the SSG, Seraphim, has also further boosted the powers of the Marines
  • The rise of the Blackbeard Pirates
  • The Invasion of Mariejois by the Revolutionary Army
  • The rise of Cross Guild.
  • The rise of the Worst Generation
  • The Revolutionary Army continues to expand under Monkey D. Dragon

All in all the world right now is the most chaotic it has been in the recent decades. With the future of the Marines being uncertain, with seeds of internal conflict brewing here and there as well. And midst this chaotic there rises an individual who is on his way to becoming the greatest Marine in history.

His Introduction:

One of the most important things when it comes to the admirals is their introductory arcs. These arcs set the tone for the characters and their importance for rest of the series, it's visible in Kuzan's introductory arc/saga that starts from the ring islands and ends with Ennis Lobby, Kizaru's with Sabody, Akainu's with Marineford (+Ohara Flashback), and Aramaki with Reverie & Wano. Oda will add the nuances and character depth to the admirals in those respective arcs which will then continue to build upon throughout the entire series each time they're shown. And the person who had the biggest introduction when it comes to be the impact of a Marine is none other than... Fujitora. So we're gonna go over his introduction and the impact of it here.

SCENE#1:

In the very opening scene of his character, Issho is shown gambling with bunch of thugs under Donquixote Doflamingo. Due to the fact he can't visually see, they keep on taking advantage of him, and nobody else around him speaks about it rather they quietly watch as it unfolds.

Bro when is the last time y'all seen an admiral or Yonko, purposely look fucking helpless against bunch of fodder that he can 1-shot in their introduction? Answer.. ding ding ding, Shanks, well he wasn't even a Yonko then... so I guess never. As Fujitora looks helpless, allowing the thugs to take further advantage of him, Luffy decides to jump in there and expose the thugs.

Then he humbly thanks Luffy for his kindness, and then as Luffy was about to comment on the fact Fujitora looked Tough.

As the thugs attempt to attack Luffy, Fujitora stops fucking around and puts down the thugs. This gave sort of a foreshadowing into what his justice will be like. Where he's taking action in order to defend those who show kindness.

And the whole scene ends with Fujitora saying that he has a feeling it'd be best for Luffy and himself that they not reveal himself. Either this is raw intuition he has or just already knew about Luffy and co. Keep in mind, he'd been acting the entire time with the thugs, as he with his heightened sense could've easily heard with the people in the bar speak about how they were ripping him off + with his CoO he could easily feel if the thugs had malice towards him or not and the emotions of those around him. Here below, him having the feeling that the guy who showed kindness to him might be a criminal, and he has a Marine would be forced to arrest him if the reality of both were to be exposed... left with just saying the below sentence. This is also continuing to be subtle build up to what is to come about his justice.

SCENE #2:

We then move on to chapter 705, where after Maynard reports to him all of the criminal names present in the stadium, Fujitora decides to head out. After getting out of the stadium one of the marine officers with him asks him about the arrangements that need to be made to deal with the criminals present. To which he orders 3 battleships, along with calling for extra medics. Then he orders the officer to also get a count of peole in the stands, the population of the town they were in + the whole Kingdom... which the officer inquires, do we need all that?

This particular scene ends with Fujitora replying back to the marine officer, that it is not the number of enemy forces that they need to keep in mind, but it is the number of lives they need to protect. His answer, leaves the marine officer completely shook. Because that ain't how the Marines been operating, look at his bro, that mans is shook to the core lmao. But already in his 2nd scene, Oda is distinguishing him from any other marine we've seen in the series so far when it comes to his leadership as a Marine. He's giving out orders that aren't the norm for the Marines. But it doesn't end here.

SCENE #3:

We see an interaction take place between Fujitora and Akainu. In the interaction is on the den den mushi with Sakazuki, where they are discussing the duping done by Doflamingo and the CP0. This conversation also gives us insight on how close him and Akainu are... no other person in the series has referred to Sakazuki as simply "Saka".

SCENE #4:

He walks in on the conversation between Doflamingo and Law, but at first he silently listens to them, before confronting them:

He continues to listen without saying a single word and Oda highlighting him with "..." in both scenes, with Doflamingo's talk about how he essentially manipulated the Warlord system. This scene right here is essentially giving more power to a scene we see later down the line Dressrosa, a flashback of Smoker & Him, where Smoker tells him of what happened in Alabasta and thus he wants to get rid of the Warlord system. To Fujitora, everything that's happening in front of him right now... is giving straight up confirmation to the feelings Smoker felt towards the Warlord system.

After Doflamingo tells Fujitora to drop the "humble act", Fujitora tells him that he's still trying to grasp his behavior and he doesn't know the full story related to the situation. But he's recieved information that Doflamingo has been doing activities that violate the rules of one of the seven lords (the information he'd received from Maynard). To which Doflamingo replies that Fujitora would have to dig deeper and get his elbows dirty before he can make those accusations at Doflamingo.

He then brings down the meteor which triggers Doflamingo. And we get the implication that Fujitora had just gotten his DF recently with testing out his powers (especially going based off of other translations).

Then this carries on to the combat stuff which eventually leads to the capture of Trafalgar Law with Doffy shooting him up in middle of the city. So we're gonna skip all that and move on to one of the most badass scenes in this blood series.

SCENE #5:

The scene starts off with Fujitora entering the suit chamber of Doflamingo where Law & King Riku are being held. Doflamingo tells him how impressed he is at Fujitora's resolve in helping him. Now look at his expression as he says this. Fujitora then straight up tells him... now hold on buddy we ain't doin this to take your side in the matter.

As Fujitora continues to walk towards Doflamingo, he continues speaking. Telling Doflamingo that he's essentially "siding" with him due to the potential destruction and havoc Luffy would cause, thus his Justice tells him to stop Luffy, keep in mind now that earlier he emphasized on the protection of civilians. And Doflamingo's expression completely changes into a serious one...lmao.

And this man straight up lets Doflamingo know... yo once I'm done with that, I'm deal with you after. Doflamingo reacts with "!!?" :suresure:

In reply to Fujitora's statement, Doflamingo replies "Excuse me...?" And here he makes the shocking revelation that he is going to fuck up the Balance of the Three Powers by removing the 7 warlords system.

Doflamingo asks him about yo what about the balanace of the three powers? This man Issho says... well bruh you won't know until you knock it down. And proceeds to tell him that price of on his head will increase if he continues to bring about more Evil and Inquity.

When Doflamingo says that it sounds like Fujitora is telling him to get rid of him while he has the chance as a warlord. Issho tells him to keep his pants on and they can still get along for now.

The scene ending with Doflamingo being told whether he likes it or not, the world will act/change in this year's reverie.

SCENE #6:

We start this scene with VA Maynard telling VA Bastille that since he'd chosen to infiltrate, he was able to get a 1st hand experience of all the fuck that's been going on in Dressrosa. And let's him know that if they round up Doflamingo... the entire world could be tipped on its head.

He then reports this to Issho and Issho denies taking in Doflamingo with the evidence they have, even though they had sufficient evidence to take in Doflamingo. And this initially came off as very confusing because just earlier he had said that he'd take care of Doflamingo, but now he's like... nahhh we just ignore it. So the reader thinks yo maybe he really is going to turn a blind eye to Doffy's secrets and not do anything about him.

Then he inquires that Maynard has been in the marines for a long time, yet are those cries of anger falling on deaf ears? He says those aren't tears of sorrow... oh no.. that's pure rage.

Now Maynard is confused as fuck, as to what the hell he's talking about. Cause he's saying yo people raging and people are angry, but at the sametime you ain't tryna bring in Doflamingo. But Fujitora then makes a statement fueled by anger, "Does the world government think itself to be God?" This is a statement not directed towards anything Maynard said. No this is a statement directed towards specifically the situation that is happening. These mfs let a pirate come in and fuck up an entire nation and did jackshit about it, do they think they're Gods? And lets Maynard know that his decision will stand and that's final.

After saying all of that, he confronts Luffy and Zoro again. And the reader is like this mf said all that... and he still helping out Doflamingo by capturing Luffy...

SCENE #7:

However, Sabo comes in later after Fujitora and SHPs seperate due to Pica. In this interaction we see Fujitora and Sabo jesting at each other and thus ultimately having a clash with each other. So now you're thinking, ok this dude going against the Revolutionary Army too even after saying that shit about the World Government.

In the fight Sabo was throwing some big heavy hitting fire power, the size of the fires being bigger than anything Ace had shown outside of Entei. We see Sabo aggressively trying while Fujitora has his same stoic face.

Shortly after, Sabo says how long Fujitora was going to play dumb for, and Fujitora shrugs this off by acting like a fucking troll. But after Fujitora hits his attack, Sabo starts to think what exactly Fujitora is plotting.

The confusion for the reader regarding Fujitora's character continues further, when he makes a very vague statement relating to gambling.

We then get this scene where Sabo has a flashback to the fight, where Fujitora this entire time did big attacks, just so he can put on an act for the other marines... where it would look like he couldn't get past Sabo. While letting Sabo know, yo bruh you can chill, we on the same side. Sabo comments on how Fujitora really is putting up a gamble, and Fujitora replies he's got lady luck on his side.

While the above scene still wasn't fully clear on what Fujitora was referring to, the below scene made it fully clear, that this entire damn time... Fujitora was simply... acting. He never had any intention of capturing Luffy. It was all an act and this entire time he was simply betting on Luffy to expose Doflamingo.

SCENE #8:

Now we are at the aftermath of Dressrosa arc. The scene starts off with two Marines talking to each other about reporting the captured to the Marine HQ. And one of the marines says that Issho had ordered them not to report yet, but they don't know as to why:

Maynard then starts the live feed video on Fujitora's orders, and the range to which they can show the aftermath of what happened is the 3 nearby Islands. Then Maynard orders the marine to follow Fujitora with the other visual snail. This mf Issho said yoo... y'all thought my acting was good the entire arc? OHHH Im about to take this shiiit full on Hollywood mode and we doing proper video shooting.

So as the people of Dressrosa are wanting King Riku to comeback on the throne. Fujitora comes in telling King Riku that he can't have Riku taking all the blame for the shit that happened at Dressrosa at the hands of Doffy.

This man with a complete stone cold face bruh says all the shit that happened here, the person to blame it all on is none other than the World Government.

And then in the most powerful scene we have seen from a Marine so far in the series... this man of top tier status... power to solo the entire nation of Dressrosa, an admiral of the Marines. Gets on his knees and addresses the people of the Kingdom and the royal family...with a most sincere apology on behalf of the World Government. EVERYBODY IS SHOOK. Them mfs can't process wtf just happened. This man damn near eclipsed the news of Law/Luffy defeating Doffy by taking this bow... that's how powerful of a moment this was.

But it wasn't just a quick bow either for show. Oh no, this man full on explains himself while still being in the bow position. He tells the world that he let the pirates do all the fighting, that it was his gamble. After King Riku inquires whether he chose to not go after Doffy just so he could create this moment (which he mothafuckin did LMAOO yooo bruh, this mf next level I swear bruh). Then he expresses essentially what Smoker and Tashigi had felt at Alabasta but couldn't express it as eloquently. How could a man who let pirates run wild on innocent folks turn is his blade on another pirate and then act like he's dishing out Justice?? He flat out gives all the credit to the pirates, gladiators, and the citizens for getting their country back.

SCENE #9:

After hearing about Issho did, fleet admiral Sakazuki calls him up. We didn't catch their initial conversation, but the scene starts from Akainu telling him to stop playing dumb that he knows full well the significance of what he did, and asking him why he didn't report to the HQ. And Fuji just straight up tells me... the story would've been manipulated again.

In the flashback right after the above scene, we see where Fujitora's motivation to abolish the warlord system stemmed from. It was Smoker who told him about what happened and how he couldn't do his job as a marine due to the warlord system... and how the government manipulated the news.

Immediately after we see Saka yelling at Fuji, telling him that he was out of line and caused justice to lose face. Fuji yells back and tells him if face is all he cares about then he should keep it tucked away and if admitting fault means your trust is gone, you ain't had any in the first place... I'm sorry bruh this mf straight up cooked Akainu. Fuji's fire in this scene exceeded the temperature of Akainu's magma.

After this Saka tells him that he's not allowed to set foot on any naval base in the world until he brings back strawhat and law. And Fuji says yupp that's exactly what he wanted to hear. And Sakazuki in response is confused af indicated by his "?!!" reaction. Now this led to a lot of people thinking Fuji wanted to capture Luffy and Law... but I honestly don't believe that to be the case. But rather this gave him the excuse to do what he wanted, rather than ending up being restricted to a Marine base. This made sure he didn't have to come to Marine HQ. That's why he doesn't go after Law or Luffy the moment they leave Dressrosa, rather heads over to Vegapunk & then Mariejois.

Scene #10:

The final scene of his introduction arc. Just as the arc started with his interaction with Monkey D. Luffy.... it ends with an interaction with Monkey D. Luffy. The scene starts with Luffy challenging Fujitora instead of avoiding him.

Now Fujitora here legit was going to kill Luffy in an act of mercy. Because he believed his life would be of peril from the emperors, thus it'd be best for him to guide Luffy to hell himself.

But just then, the people of the kingdom start coming in to stop Fujitora from killing the pirates. But he doesn't sense any anger in the emotions they were saying and he could hear the whispers they were saying.

And this gives Fujitora an excuse to back off from Luffy, which he does, all while be impressed by what the young man who he met when he first came to Dressrosa, had accomplished. I know people have this weird thing with the whole "Nika" shit, which isn't an issue for me personally and I'm enjoying it... But this scene below is beautiful man. Idc if people wanna take it with the "Nika glaze" or w.e non-sense. This is just straight up good writing. He saw a young man take actions against injustice, while displaying honorable qualities like being honest to a fault, taking no credit as a hero despite saving the kingdom.. He is thoroughly impressed by this young man.

Now that is the end of his introductory arc. We're gonna get into his key storylines, relationships, individual prowess, symbolism and all that jazz. I'll be using less images in the sections below as a lot have already been used in the breakdown of his introduction above.

Leadership & New Era of Justice:

The amount of interaction Fujitora has had with the underlings marines when it comes to giving orders and meaningful conversations, we ain't seen nothing like that from any other admirals or old gen characters.

Redefining what being a Marine is:

The very first thing he does in Dressrosa when he's revealed to be an admiral is that changing the mentality of the Marines. Marines will no longer be "let us focus and hammer down on the enemy and worry about the civilians later", but will now be "lets make sure the people we're trying to protect are protected instead of tripping over the enemy." This mentality a big shift. On numerous occasions we've seen other marines and civilians being secondary to the capture of criminals. Which is exactly why when Fujitora told that underling about bringing in Medics and counting up the number of people, he was shook.

But it doesn't stop there, the next thing we aren't doing anymore is taking somebody else's credit. No more of that bullshit. We ain't do it, we ain't taking credit for it even if we look incompetent. If a pirate did it, that pirate is taking the credit for it. What does this do? It increases the accountability an individual has to now put on themselves when they fail. And he does this with example, he's not preaching shit that he's not doing himself. This mf got on livestream and made sure he exposed the fact that pirates did that shit and not him n his marines.

Last but not least, apologizing. Such a crucial thing when it comes to policing or military in general. If you do wrong by the people you're meant to protect, you should apologize. We do that in our daily lives, because it is the right thing to do. If I take upon a responsibility of doing something for you, and I fail to do it I would apologize, just normal human conduct. This is what Fujitora makes sure that the Marines under him understand, see he doesn't have some lower ranked underling go to King Riku and apologize, oh no, he himself bows down on hands knee and feet to apologize to the people of Dressrosa all of whom are essentially "Fodder" to him and in front of thousands to millions of people... leading by example.

New era of Justice:

Absolute Justice is the main justice that the Marines have been running on for decades to centuries for all we know. It has been stressed multiple times throughout the series. And even when we find out about other individual justices of the admirals, they aren't really explored outside of just being gimmicks. Like "reigning justice", "Lazy justice", "thorough justice", like these are just gimmick justices that connect to some trait related to the character. And Akainu's "thorough justice" just being an underlying tone of Absolute Justice.

But with Fujitora we get a proper justice that is fully explored and provides a direct counter to Absolute Justice. Whereas Absolute Justice is focused on hunting down criminals based on the label of them being criminals, regardless of their individuality. Fujitora's justice "Humane justice" is based on treating people based on their individual actions. Luffy proves himself to be a good guy? He's not gonna hunt him. Sabo is from the RA, aka the biggest terrorist organization, but he's a good guy... he's not gonna hunt him. Whereas Absolute Justice focuses on getting criminals regardless of the cost, Humane justice is about prioritizing the humans that need protection first and aiming to lessen destruction and chaos that would hurt the normal people. To showcase this we see multiple panels of Fujitora calling for medics for civilians + this man subduing his own marines with gravity so they wouldn't hurt civilians.

When you combine the new type of justice he's bringing in along with different sets of individual principles he's showcasing to the rest of the marines, you're witnessing the greatest leader the Marines have ever had. Somebody who will lead by example to showcase positive change to the organization. Somebody who will take a stand against the corruption of his own organization if need be. Somebody who will listen to his underlings and do things that will make them be able to do their jobs without any issues, like we saw him listen to Smoker's complaint about the warlords preventing the marines from doing their job against criminals... he went ahead and tore up the balance of three powers.

The Tiger & The Dog

Issho & Sakazuki, the two crucial figures of the present day Marines, separated only by 2 years in age. Earlier I showed you how informal/close Fuji is with Akainu that he'll simply call him "Saka". The same is the case for Sakazuki himself, he's informal with Fujitora and will simply call him "that boy / that brat".

Ignoring the fact that this man verbally abused Akainu twice, leaving Akainu with nothing to say in response. But key thing to note here is the stark contrast in the two conversation. They can go from a full on heated conversation unlike anything we seen between marine top tiers to discussing issues of World Power Balance in a regular conversation.

Their relationship is actually very similar to the one Kong - Garp had in the past. Where you had the World Government supporting Fleet Admiral trying to do his best for WG agenda, and under him you had a wild dog not listening to the Fleet Admiral. And similar to how Fujitora spoke back without 0 fear of consequences, Garp did the same to Kong. To be clear I'm making the parrallel between Saka-Kong, Fuji-Garp. Saka/Fuji just being the more passionate versions of the old duo.

We know Garp has the iconic Dog symbolism going for him, with his wild nature he has the "Wild Dog" aspect down to a T. Then another character see being called a Wild Dog is Smoker by Crocodile and Vergo... Fujitora similarly is categorized as a wild dog by Doflamingo. And he fits the anti-authority figure character that both Garp & Smoker fill for their respective generation, difference being he's out to make political change as well.

When you look at the traits of the Dog & the Tiger in chinese zodiac, they're quite similar. And when you look at Akainu & Fujitora's individual traits, they're quite similar as well. Both are heavily about powering up the Marines, both are highly ambitious making sure to achieve their goals regardless of the obstacles they might face, both are extremely stubborn in personality, both can be hot headed at times. Despite being so similar they're also complete opposites. Akainu represents the form of Justice that is the opposite of Fujitora's. Where as Akainu is fine having the support of the pirates like Warlord, Fujitora doesn't fuck with that. There are fundamental differences in their ideologies, and these differences are displayed from Fujitora's introductory arc. Unlike Kuzan who was wishy washy in his ideology and simply knew Akainu shouldn't be the one who should be FA... Fujitora on the other hand is clear cut on his ideology, there is no going from "humane justice" to shit like "lazy justice".

I have made other threads in the past highlighting how the two are bound to have a clash/fight at the final war. And it would serve Akainu's storyline the most if his opponent was Fujitora, but of course as you already know in a powerlevel driven fandom, things like these get opposed due to fans either assuming Fujitora is weak thus it would weaken Akainu's standing... or Fujitora shouldn't get to face somebody like Akainu for other reasons. To me it is a poetic storyline of a friend vs a friend over the reign of the future direction of the Marines. For the new era of justice to come, the symbol of old justice must be replaced.

The Tiger & The Revolutionaries:

Roronoa & Issho:

I recently made a thread related to Koushirou, Zoro's sensei, and how he could be the hidden top tier swordsman for the RA. In that thread I stated there are two individuals who I can see fulfilling that role and that Koushirou was simply one of the possibilities... the other being Issho. When you at all the big time figures of each era, and in particular the two that Dragon has been constantly compared with...

Gol D. Roger - had Silvers Rayleigh
Monkey D. Luffy - has Roronoa Zoro
Monkey D. Garp - had somebody like Bogard
Edward Newgate - had Oden
Mardshall D. Teach - has Shiryuu

These big time figures of their respective eras have a top notch swordsman under them. Yet Dragon has yet to show a swordsman among his top commanders, let a lone as his strongest. Now the person I particularly want to focus on is Luffy-Zoro. There is a lot of Tiger symbolism connected with Luffy-Zoro and Tiger. In one of the covers where Oda transforms the strawhats into their respective symbolic animals, the one who Oda transforms Zoro into is... Tiger.

As stated in the other thread, somebody with the potential of WSS, is used to confirm Luffy having exceptional friends and thus truly being Dragon's son. That's the expectation of being Dragon's son, let alone being Dragon himself. Now Zoro is the one used to express this.

The initial connection between the two when they first clash.

Then we have Fujitora helping Roronoa with the birdcage:

Then even as the arc is ending, right after Luffy's fight, we see Zoro wanting to go at Fujitora.

And most important of all, a gesture that symbolizes great men, in particular great swordsmen.. an ability highlighted by even the WSS Mihawk... Bowing/forsaking pride for the sake of others and to accomplish your goals. Zoro bowed in front of Mihawk to get stronger to support his captain Luffy. Fujitora bowed in front of King Riku to take accountability and correct the injustices done to others.

Dragon & Tiger:

In the flashback of Vegapunk we see him telling Dragon to not lose sight of the goal, that within the Marines there are still many reasonable people to be found. This panel also gives backing to my theory I had before that many in the Marines will side with Dragon when it's time for the war.

Just recently we have an established connection with Fujitora & Vegapunk, where Fujitora had recently visited VP:

In addition to this Fujitora is the character with the most interactions with the revolutionary army on two different occasions:

1st. Letting Sabo go in Dressrosa
2nd. Letting the RA commanders and slaves escape in Mariejois

Mere coincidence? I personally don't think so.

In addition to this there is the symbolism of Tiger-Dragon. Where these two entities represent the Yin & Yang, the equilibrium of the world. While often in opposition to each other, when they forces combine together they cause world changing events. When looking at the character of Dragon and Fuji, we see this being played out. Dragon set his goal as wanting to raise an army that could fight against the World Government, and he's accomplishing that goal. According to the narrator the Revolutionary Army is feared by the world. According to Vegapunk, the RA continues to shake the world to its core. We don't know the actual goal of why Fujitora decided to be a marine, however, after becoming a marine he set one of his goals as wanting to eliminate the Warlord system, and this mf goes and does it without a single care. These are arguably the most ambitious top tiers of the middle generation we have.

High end prowess:

Observation Haki: I don't think I need to say much on this, the man was able to hear Nami's thunder attack out on the seas that Doffy had 0 idea bout. Along with picking up the broken buildings all around Dressrosa that nobody was injured or caught up in the process. The man essentially has it active 24/7 since he can't see with his eyes, the constant usage of Haki is shown to lead to great improvements, which is how Luffy improved his CoO from basic to FS.

Armament Haki: He's shown normal hardening

Conqueror's Haki: Now this is where things become interesting, I believe he's already displayed conqueror's haki, he let a bit of it leak out when he got angry feeling the rage of the people of Dressrosa caused by the World Government, which led to Maynard shivering & falling down while trembling. This is a Vice Admiral shivering and falling down... people had try to convince me this is talk no jutsu, i'm sorry but a if a mf can make a VA shiver and fall on his ass with just words... that mf is top 1. Lmao.

Devil Fruit: His DF's range is insane, in AoE manner it is at the very least Island wide. However, in terms of long distance range the man can reach space with gravity and pull down meteors.

One of the most underrated things in the series is the meteors he's capable of bringing down. This is something he can pull down casually. Folks often treat it like it's no big deal, but the reactions of Law/Sabo/Doflamingo say otherwise. I've also seen statements like how Doffy dealt with it casually, yet their faces disagree. Its destructive capabilities are insane, and he's only summoned one, imagine what happens if he summons multiple..

No idea what this attack he used against Law was, but the size of it is absolutely insane:

Significance of a Supreme Blade:

There are 4 individuals outside of Fujitora confirmed with a Supreme Blade:

1st. Mihawk - the WSS, has ACoC
2nd. Gol D. Roger - the Pirate King, has ACoC
3rd. Edward Newgate - the could've been PK, has ACoC + top notch DF
4th. Venus Nusjuro - Gorosei, has top tier DF like abilities + ACoC

In comparison with the 21 grade blades:

1st. Ryuuma - renowned as "Sword God" in Wano, a legendary swordsman outside of Wano.
2nd. Oden - arguably stronger than Kaido at the time of his death, an individual renowned for being WB's commander. (Held 2)
3rd. Roronoa Zoro - on his way to be the WSS (has multiple)
4th. Kuina - was the Ace/Sabo equivelent to Zoro.

There's a clear significance given to those that hold these blades. In particular the supreme blades belonging to those who stood/stand at the very peak of power. Him having supreme blade automatically let's us know he stands on the same level as Roger/Newgate/Mihawk when it comes to individual prowess. His Haki will be absolutely absurd, as it should for a man who joined the Marines and still openly takes a stand against the World Government lol.

Folks can attempt to downplay this all they want, with various excuses. But the reality is reality. His Zodiac is the Tiger, the strongest of the Chinese Zodiac after Dragon. Just like supreme blade represents power, this man's very name is a symbol of power.

I think people equate the fact he hasn't had the big flashy haki feats or solid 1on1 opposition yet.. as him not being as strong as some of the other admirals let alone the top over the verse characters. Reality is though, the more "human" Oda makes a top tier look... the stronger that top tier is likely is to be. Hence Zoro/Luffy go through their mid-looking moments despite going to end up being characters who stand at the top of the verse.

Conclusion:

The man who has made bigger world impact than Borsalino/Kizaru/Sengoku/Garp combined did in the series despite being introduced much earlier, by single handedly destroying the Balance of the Three Powers (uhhh any warlord Luffy takes down would just be replaced... so no it wasn't Luffy lol). He who joined the Marines, an orgnization owned and ran by the World Government, to take a stand against the corruption of the World Government... something even the likes of Kuzan/Borsalino/Garp/Sengoku/Akainu/Kong failed to do. An entity whose name is embodiment of power.

An ambitious man who achieves all that he sets his goal on, regardless of any opposition he might face. An individual who puts the protection of civilians before the destruction of criminals. An individual who had forsaken his eyes due to the world, but has not forsaken the world. A man of great power yet is one of the most humble beings we know. The Purple Tiger who will lead the Marines into a new era after the downfall of the Celestial Dragons, the greatest marine in the making. (TBC again: Current greatest is Kong :D)

This is it for my exodus thread, I was trying to time it right with 4100 posts, y'all stay blessed and be well. I've written giant posts for other characters so just for fun's sake wanted to write something for my fav OP character (after Luffy/Roronoa). Please, as always, share any disagreements or agreements you might have or any add-ons you want to add.
