General & Others Its neat that both Zoro and Sanji's likely gorosei opponents planets are connected to the other

zoro vs the guy who references the planet Venus ( goddess of love and sanji is all about the power of love and Venus is also a god of war which fits sanji being a crews third strongest fighter close third to Zoro ( though some people have this weird idea that sanji also being the chef should detract from him being a crews fighter which comes off as desperation to downplay )

heck ethan's name is NASUjuro and zeff called sanji chibiNASU

I don’t think th strawhat is gonna fight the 5 elders
I’m 50/50 on zoro vs nusjuro because of the cursed swords but if it wasn’t for the cursed sword then I wouldn’t think zoro would fight him.

sabo will definitely fight one of the elders
I could see BB fighting garling

Nice post. I do like when themes and connections line up really well in the series. Not sure everything listed is intentional on Oda's part (sometimes there's deep thought placed in some aspects and others are coincidences), but after Warcury (Mercury) who Luffy was clashing with, Venus and Mars are the next from the sun and that's probably the reasoning suggesting they're the resident number 2 and 3 of the Gorosei (Garling is now thrown in the mix but excluding him). Zoro and Sanji against them makes the most sense to me and posts like these just reinforce why it works so well.

Though Luffy probably won't need to be pitted against Warcury for a full rematch (I would appreciate Luffy knocking him around a bit after failing to prior) so I'm interested in who gets that match-up, same for Garling. I think the Gorosei fights will be a mix of Straw Hats and other allies overcoming them. Dragon v Garling would allow Dragon to face a hyped top-tier who leads/led the Holy Knights and is perhaps the new strongest Gorosei member (depending on who's superior between Garling and Warcury but Garling was already hyped and could get new abilities befitting his new position directly under Imu like the rest of the group). Not sure on Warcury. Then there's Ju Peter.
